Gülay Alpay is a Turkish- Canadian interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto. She completed both her BFA and MFA in Painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. She later received a certificate in Visual and Digital Arts from Humber College. Currently, she continues her studies in the Indigenous Visual Culture program at OCAD University in Toronto.

Her artistic practice explores painting and interdisciplinary forms through a playful, spirited, and freeform visual language that often carries hidden layers of meaning. Her works have been exhibited internationally, and she continues to develop her artistic practice in Toronto.

She was featured as an artist at Partial Gallery as part of the RBC CEAD × OCAD U Showcase.
